Why is polystyrene bad? Have your pick:

· It is a potential human carcinogen

· It leaches into the food and drink that it contains, yes, your coffee and your chicken dinner

· As far as it can be determined, it is non-biodegradable

· But it breaks easily, making it super easy for animals to eat and super difficult for humans to remove from the environment

· Its manufacturing process releases toxic waste

· Even in a landfill, it can still leak and pollute

So, what are we waiting for? Let’s ban it from our lives and ask others to do the same!
